FIRE OPS SA operates a diverse fleet of emergency response vehicles, including large pumpers, water tankers, Rapid Intervention Vehicles (RIVs) and response motorcycles, strategically deployed across our operational footprint.
Vehicle allocation is carefully planned to support effective response across each Patch. Factors such as geographic coverage, terrain, risk profile and specific client requirements are considered when determining the most appropriate fleet configuration for each area.
FIRE OPS SA uses a combination of conventional and unconventional response vehicles
Our fleet combines conventional firefighting vehicles with smaller, highly manoeuvrable Rapid Intervention Vehicles designed to get firefighters to an incident quickly and begin suppression without delay.
Equipped with ultra-high-pressure (UHP) firefighting technology, these vehicles use water more efficiently, delivering powerful fire suppression capability from a compact and agile platform.
Water supplies can be replenished from conventional hydrants as well as alternative sources, including swimming pools and standard water connections where appropriate. This provides greater operational flexibility and reduces reliance on municipal firefighting infrastructure during an emergency.
