FLOOR WARDENS
CORPORATE FLOOR WARDEN COMPLEMENT
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Floor Wardens are assigned to client buildings and where required to specific floors
- Building inspections of handheld fire equipment, suppression systems, generator and transformer rooms
- Inspect all hydrants on a weekly basis and notify facilities team of relevant issues
- Inspect building signage and ensure all signage incl evacuation signage is visible at all times
- Inspection and monitoring of diesel store tanks
- Liaise and co-ordinate any other fire related suppliers on site such as 3rd party construction / refurbishment or fire system teams
- Building patrols of all floors (incl basement and parking floors)
- Continuous patrolling and reporting (to the Fire Ops SA watchroom and client security team)
- Daily checks on smoke control doors for obstructions
- Comprehensive reporting on all findings incl fire safety issues, evacuations and emergencies
- Ensure client compliance at all times
- Bi-weekly report provided to client on findings and fire related compliance matters
- Ensure client induction process adherence as it relates to the client's international and local SHE procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Floor Wardens are trained in First Aid Level 1, 2 and 3
- Basic Fire Safety
- Evacuation Training
- OHS Regulations
- Threat Assessment Training
- Gas Suppression Identification and Alarm Response
- Smoke, Heat and Flame Detector Identification and Audits
- Various Fire Panel Training (incl Zito)
- Sprinkler Identification and Inspection
