This created an expanse in the market for a viable solution. So, with his colourful and highly skilled background attained over the years as part of the fire department, that is exactly what led our current Fire Chief, Wynand Engelbrecht to establish FIRE OPERATIONS SA (PTY) LTD.

Our Fire Chief, a seasoned Fire Officer who developed a leading reputation in the industry, known to all – with his last municipal posting that of Task Force Commander: Sandton Fire Department (before the Metro was established), it was clear he had the knowledge to develop \what Johannesburg needed again.

FIRE OPS SA has become the only alternative to the exceptionally limited fire service available to citizens, businesses and insurers.  The company is headed by De Wet Engelbrecht, a young and energetic CEO with an extensive background in fire and suppression systems.

We are supported by a 60+ strong crew of Officers, Firefighters and Recruits – proudly, our Officers are entrenched in the history of the former fire department with 25 – 35 years of experience.
