FIRE OPS SA employs more than 60 full-time Firefighters, our Officers and Commanders are of the highest calibre – all with proven track records as Fire Officers, most of who served in the former Sandton Fire Department Task Force during the late-eighties, early-nineties as well as in Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Central Africa.

Our firemen are hand-picked to form an excellent nucleus of firefighters together with our corps of cadets, all of whom are individually selected through stringent processes. Recruits undergo a strenuous selection program spanning approximately two years.

We believe, qualifying as a firefighter requires four years of dedication and hard work within our operations, consistent training, fitness and discipline is foremost on the agenda and what refines the skills of every FIRE OPS SA firefighter.
