Woman arrested after fatal fire engulfs hijacked building in Joburg CBD

The City of Joburg has confirmed that the gutted building was hijacked.
A suspect has been arrested for arson in connection with theย fireย that broke out at a hijacked building in the central business district (CBD) of Johannesburg.
This is according to theย City of Joburg.
Investigations
Speaking to reporters at the scene, Joburg city managerย Floyd Brinkย said an unidentified woman was apprehended and was now in the possession of the South African Police Service (Saps).
โIt does seem at this point the fire was started by a specific personโฆ itโs a female.
โWe have handed over [her] to Saps [and] we are now waiting for the investigations to unfold,โ he said on Sunday.
