A sudden fire broke out at Knights Preparatory School in Randburg, causing extensive damage to the school’s main hall. While the flames were quickly brought under control by emergency services, the cause of the blaze remains unknown. Authorities have launched a full investigation to determine what sparked the fire.

Fire operations including the City of Johannesburg,  Emergency Services (EMS), EGM, ER24 and private security teams, contained a fire which broke out around 8:50am, at Knights Preparatory School, in Randburg.
